    • 1991 Department of Business Administration was established, and Two-Year Junior College Day Program started recruiting students graduated from vocational high school.
    • 1992 Two-Year Junior College Evening Program was launched.
    • 1993 Five-Year Junior College Program was instituted.
    • 1998 The Continuing Education Program was launched to recruit students who graduated from vocational high school and is on the job.
    • 1999 Department of Business Administration was reformed and Two-Year College Day Program was launched.
    • 2000 Four-Year College Day Program and Two-Year College for Practician Program were instituted.
    • 2004 Graduate Institute of Business Administration was established.

    Current Program

    • Day Program: Four-Year College
    • Evening Program: Two-Year College, and Four-Year College
    • Extension School (study on weekend): Two-Year Junior College, Two-Year College
    • Extension School (study on Wednesday and Thursday): Two-Year Junior College, Two-Year College
    • Graduate School: General admission or individual application for practicians



    Educational Goals:

    1. Enrich students with management skill for contemporary society.
    2. Improve training in creative thinking, entrepreneurship, and internationalization management.
    3. Enhance the concept of business ethics and service in hope of fulfilling the values of society.

    In addition, different programs have different goals on training our students:

    1. Two-Year Junior College: to increase student’s professional capabilities to be a floor manager by instructing student in the principle of management.
    2. Two-Year College: to equip students with professional capabilities to be the middle-level managers by instructing them in the advanced business management.
    3. Four-Year College: to develop student’s managerial skill by instructing student in the integrated theoretical understanding and practical training.
    4. Graduate School: to train students to be the middle-high-level managers by emphasizing on managerial research study, in the hope of reinforcing their capability of knowledge integration, independent thinking, innovation, and problem solving.



    1. The curriculum design fulfills the core courses of business management, and a curriculum map is formed. Besides, the curriculum design is evaluated annually by hiring prominent managers or alumni to examine the adequacy for matching the needs of the current industry.
    2. The curriculum map consists of three major categories and nine career objectives, meeting the needs of the industry.
    3. A management internship program is implemented in the curriculums of Two-Year College, Four-Year College, and Graduate School.
    4. Since 2005, under the Career Program, our department collaborated with Council of Labor Affairs every year to provide students with field trips and practical training, and invited the speakers from the industry to lecture on the practical business management issue.
    5. Student’s practical projects are evaluated by oral tests before their graduation. Since 2002, some student’s excellent projects accepted funding by National Science Council each year.

    Courses :



         Forty-four teachers specialized in the fields of Management, Marketing, Logistics, Finance, and Investment can assist students with their educational goals. The quality and quantity of teaching excellence are sufficient, and all teachers’ specialties are agreeable with the design of curriculum.

    1. The specialties of the faculty are in agreement with the developing direction of the department.
    2. Eighty percentage of teachers holds an assistant professor status or above in 2012, up from twenty-four percentage in 1994.
    3. Seventy-three percentage of full-time teachers owns industrial working experience.
    4. Ninety-three percentage of full-time teachers owns professional certificates.



         Seven major special classrooms effectively enhance the learning performance, including (1) Marketing and Proposal Development Classroom, (2) Investment and Financial Information Classroom, (3) Business Running Simulation and Case Studies Classroom, (4) Business and Internet Applied Information Classroom, (5) Computer-Assisted Telephone Interviewing (CATI) Training Classroom, (6) Case Studies Teaching Classroom, and (7) Audio-Visual Classroom.

    1. The design of the special classrooms meets the objectives of the department. For example, the design of Marketing and Proposal Development Classroom is for the purpose of development of the Marketing & Logistics Group. The design of Business Running Simulation and Case Studies Classroom and Business and Internet Applied Information Classroom meets the development of the Business & Management Group. The design of Investment and Financial Information Classroom meets the development of the Investment & Finance Group.
    2. Seven special classrooms provide students a compatible environment where they are trained for the preparation of various competitions. In the past 10 years, more than 10 projects were awarded the prize each year in many different off-campus contests.
    3. Each general classroom is equipped with a Digital Multi-Media Lectern, a projector, air-conditioning, and wireless services to provide a comfortable educational environment.
    4. Three of the special classrooms are authorized as the certified test centers, where provide students with adequate environment on the certificate acquisition training.
