    Why CSU

Cheng Shiu University is blessed with a beautiful natural location by the shores of Cheng Ching Lake on the outskirts of metropolitan Kaohsiung. Close enough to the city’s bustling and prosperous commercial center to enable close cooperation among industry, government, and academia, and to allow students to maintain a firm grasp on the pulse of society, yet still removed from the crowds and distractions of the big city, it is an ideal place for cultivating fine citizens and preparing them for careers after graduation. The university is currently comprised of 19 academic departments, 2 bachelor programs and 12 graduate institutes, organized under the College of Engineering, College of Management, and the College of Life and Creativity, in an arrangement designed to promote the cultivation of well-rounded individuals equally adept in science and the humanities. In recent years we have gone to considerable expense to build a library, academic buildings, and state-of-the-art classrooms. The impressive array of buildings and comprehensive, cutting edge facilities offer students a complete learning environment.
