[Important Announcement] Opening Ceremony of Day Time Programs for 2025 Academic Year 1st Semester
1. Time: 09:00 Monday, September 8, 2025 (Participants must check in by 08:30).
2. Location: Cheng-Shiu Hall, 9F, Humanities Building.
3. Participants: Tutors and six class representatives—Class Representative, Vice Class Representative, Discipline Officer, Academic Officer, Service Officer, and Assistant Service Officer or other cadres—including five-year program students, per class for daytime programs. Participants who cannot attend due to other matters should find other cadres (or classmates) to represent them. Those who fail to attend or appoint a proxy will receive a Grade B disciplinary demerit per the Student Conduct Regulations. If a class does not have the cadres mentioned above, the tutor should assign students to participate to meet attendance requirements for weekly meetings.
4. Dress Code: Please dress formally to attend (food and beverages are strictly prohibited).
5. Cadre representatives are requested to sit in their designated positions (facing the seating area from left to right) and complete check-in by 08:30. To ensure the ceremony progresses smoothly, no one is allowed to enter or leave the venue during the ceremony. Everyone should cooperate to enter the venue on time.
6. A late registration counter will open outside the venue after the ceremony begins; cadres attending will be punished in proportion to their arrival time. The entire opening ceremony is about one hour; those who are more than 10 minutes late will be deemed absent. Those who leave early will be dealt with on the same basis as those who are late.
