The National Symphony Orchestra, under the National Performing Arts Center, is committed to revitalizing the arts and cultural environment and nurturing musical talents. It intends to hold the "TSMC x NSO x TNUA Music Educational Program - Masterclass with Shao-Chia Lü" in 2024.
Up-and-coming conductors will receive intensive and comprehensive training sessions guided by the NSO's conductor emeritus, Shao-Chia Lü, alongside the Taipei National University of the Arts Symphony Orchestra. They will delve deep into the styles and connotations of the compositions. Maestro Shao-Chia Lü will personally lead the course while incorporating on-site practical rehearsals to provide a multifaceted learning experience. Exclusive orchestras and vocalists will be invited to participate and rehearse together based on the class schedule. A concert showcasing the students' achievements will be held at the Taipei National University of the Arts Concert Hall at the end of the course.
