[Dormitory Announcement] Application Guidelines for 2024-1 Student Dormitory. Please Complete the Application Within the Designated Period.

1. Registration Period: August 9 to August 11, 2024. The deadline is 17:00.

2. Registration Method: Please apply through the Cheng Shiu University website, Student Affairs Information, or the Dormitory Management System.

3. Please have a digital photo of your headshot and scanned electronic copies of low/middle-low income documentation ready when applying. Documentation must be for the validity period to be eligible for the Executive Yuan accommodations subsidy.

4.   Admission Results Announcement: First-Year Students – August 12, 2024, 12:00. Returning Students – August 13, 2024, 12:00. (Please log into the system and check the results under Application List Overview).

5.    Accommodation Fee Subsidy and Reduction: Subsidies cannot be claimed multiple times.

1. Low-Income Household Subsidy: NTD 12,500. Apply within the first two weeks after the start of the semester.
2. Following our school’s Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, and Outlying Island Areas Four-Year Technical Day Program New Student Admissions Grant Implementation Guidelines: Students who are high school (vocational) graduates from Yilan, Hualien, Taitung, or whose household registration is in the “Outlying Island Areas,” are eligible for a grant covering one year of accommodation fees at Cheng Shiu University Dormitory (no payment required). If the above conditions are met but the dormitory application is for Wenshan Campus, any fee difference must be made (handled after the start of the semester).
3. Executive Yuan Accommodations Subsidy: General domestic students – NTD 5,000 per semester. Low and low-middle income students: NTD 7,000 per semester. Proof of documentation must be uploaded when applying.

6.    Payment Deadline: Please download the payment slip from the Yuanta School Affairs website. Failure to provide payment before the deadline will result in disqualification. Your spot will be offered to a student on the waiting list.

1. Deposit Due: August 13 to August 15, 2024
2. Dormitory Fee: August 13 to August 15, 2024 (Excluding low-income students and those who have applied for student loans for dormitory fees).
3. Deposit and dormitory fees are non-refundable except in cases of withdrawal, suspension, or special forced majeure.

7.    Shared Living Application: 8/14 to 8/20 (not applicable for returning Wenshan Campus students. The dormitory will assign rooms to students). Applications are available after paying the deposit.

1. The shared living application requires consent from all parties involved. Only one representative should complete the application; duplicates are not accepted.

8.     Bed Availability Announcement Date: September 2, 2024, 12:00. (Inquiries can be made on this system).

9.     Move-in Date: A payment receipt or student loan certification is required for check-in. Those who have not completed payment are not allowed to check in.

1. First-Year Students: September 3 and September 4, 2024 from 09:00 to 18:00.
