Brief History

The Evening Division at ChengShih University was established in 1971. It was designed as an educational option for traditional and non-traditional students who wanted to pursue a higher educational degree. The Evening Division has been reorganized as the Division of Continuing Education since 1999. The Division now includes Chemical Engineering Department, Civil Engineering Department, Electronic Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, Electronic Engineering Department, International Trade Department, Business Administration Department, Early Childhood Care and Education Department, and Applied Foreign Language Department for two-year program. It also includes Chemical Engineering Department, Civil Engineering Department, Electronic Engineering Department, Mechanical Engineering Department, Electronic Engineering Department, International Trade Department, Business Administration Department, Early Childhood Care and Education Department, Information Management Department, Finance and Banking Department and Applied Foreign Language Department for four-year program, and Electronic Engineering Department, Business Administration Department, Early Childhood Care and Education Department for two-year program of junior college.
